Pittsburgh Steelers PCC Electric Street Car

M.T.H. Electric Trains has added an O Gauge PCC trolley to its NFL roster of licensed merchandise beginning with the uncataloged Pittsburgh Steelers “Terrible Trolley”.

Based on a real life trolley that ran the streets of Pittsburgh after the fourth Steeler Super Bowl victory, the Terrible Trolley concept was based on the Steelers Terrible Towel phenomenon created by legendary Steeler broadcaster Myron Cope. The towels flew again in 2006 when the Steelers captured their fifth Super Bowl.

Like all PCC cars, the Terrible Trolley will include Proto-Sound 2.0 and M.T.H.’s legendary speed control for incredibly smooth operation. The sound set includes station stops called out by none other than the recently retired Myron Cope. Fans of the Steelers will love to listen to the humorous and distinctive “Copeisms” that had so many fans turning down the sound on their TV and turning up the radio!
